Privacy Policy

This page explains what information skill4sap collects, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. We try to collect the minimum necessary to run the Service.
1. Information you give us
- Account data: email address, first and last name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Contact form submissions: your name, email, and message, used only to respond to you.
- Course progress and exam attempts: which chapters you've completed, quiz answers, and simulation scores, so you can track your own progress.
2. Payment information
Subscription payments are handled entirely by PayPal. When you subscribe, PayPal collects and processes your payment details directly — skill4sap never receives, sees, or stores your card or bank account information. We only store the subscription status PayPal reports back to us (active, cancelled, etc.) and the associated PayPal subscription ID, so we know whether to grant access.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to cache your account details for a faster experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
4. Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool, to understand overall traffic (e.g. which pages are visited, roughly how many people use the Service). Umami does not use cookies and does not track you individually across other websites.
5. Who we share data with
We share data with service providers strictly to run skill4sap: PayPal (payment processing), our hosting provider, and our email provider (to send password resets and respond to contact form messages). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we'll process the request.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by reaching out via our contact form.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
